Hello,

Do not try to solder a component on the boards, they are multilayer-boards and will be damaged. This would alse void the warranty.

If you want a modification send the boards to Dada in Antwerp.

If you want to reduce the input-sensitivity the best way is using a resistor-bridge (or a 50K trimmer) in the input-line.

hi stefaan thanks for the help. unfortunately the previous owner has already messed around. to one of the boards. r7 and r8 resistors have been replaced and also all 2 transistors and drivers.and unfortunately there is already some damage on the board. does it make sense. to upgrade to quad 405 high-end board v3 - i already have opa627 opamp or is there to little improvement. compared to what i have now? i payed only 450euro for the quad 405-2 and 34 pre  405-2 has the double power supply with a toroidal transformer  and delay boards .quad 34 pre  has burr brown opamp
