My FM3 works fine and has a great sound. But the right channel drops out more or less quickly after i choose a station . A little trimming of the tuning knob solves the problem for a short while. Sometimes the right channel spontaneously recovers for some time. It occurs to me that the problem is located in the amplification sector because the indication lights are working properly and trimming the tuning knob gives crackles in the right channel before the signal reappears.

Anyone any idea?

I would start with the seating of the MC1310 itself and then work your way through the solder joints and components for the right channel all the way to the output jack. Might be worth resolding the output jack connections to the PCB, these sometimes go dry. Also check the cable of course.
