I checked the voltages on my 2 x Quad 303 bi-amp set up after fitting the Dada upgrade a few weeks ago, to correct any drift now they've burnt in. Bad move! Now one amp outputs at about 50% of the volume of the other.

I've rechecked the voltages (67v pins 1&9, 33.5v pins 1&5, ~10mV pins 4&6) and they are all good on both amps but the volume just isn't there on the one amp. I've confirmed it's genuinely the amp by switching the speaker cables over (= the problem moves to other speaker) and it seems to be both driver boards that are equally affected.

They were sounding great before this morning! Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I had one of those recently. It can't be anything but C100 as far as I can see, or bad joints where the input cable joins the PCB.

Thanks for that. It turns out my logic was fogged in switching cables around and it was not the amp but the volume pot. Sounds fantastic again now and the Dada kit has been a great upgrade.
