Hi all,

the tuning knob is working properly and the selection with the 8 station buttons works. All LEDs are lightning. But storing a tuned frequency is possible with 2 buttons only. What could be the reason?

Very difficult to diagnose this without the unit in front of me on the bench but these buttons go straight into the processor via D1..D4, so as long as the diodes are OK they should work in both manual-store and recall mode. You might have to investigate the new IC1 chip. Do the corresponding LEDs light up when you do the manual store on the failing buttons?

I was just thinking about the problem again. It's illogical that the digital electronics behave in this way. Since I had been planning to replace the battery for some time, I wanted to rule out this cause. After all, everything works fine after changing the battery. Thank you for thinking with me!
