Could someone please tell me of an equivalent replacement for the two diodes TI 5421 and TI 5421R.that have failed in my 303 power supply unit?

Last time I did this I used 2 x 468-8979 and 2 x 817-2377: these are RS Components part numbers, but you can get them elsewhere, they are jelly-bean parts.  Or any other diodes with the same or higher ratings. Note that R means Reverse, which is the difference between case-anode and case-cathode, don't ask me which is which. I strongly suggest you replace them one at a time and have your DVM handy on the diode range, to ensure you get the right ones in the right places.

A more cost effective solution may be to replace the complete rectifier comp. something such as a kbpc1502. RS number 687-5651 would bolt to the chassis. But if you wish to keep originality then the other option suggested may be the one for you.
