Does anyone know where I can find a good site to advertise some Quad equipment . I have used Hifi for sale but i'm not sure it is the right place for Quad.

Ebay is definitely the best place.

Publish it in English, with several pictures, the serial number and the technical details (revised or not ao.)

Also publish it in all European countries. Quad is mainly used in the UK but also in Germany, France and the Netherlands.

Ask a reasonable minimum-price and let them bid during at least one week.

Can I add to that that photos are king. The more the merrier, and if there are any defects make sure they are fully disclosed and well photographed. This gives buyers the confidence that there aren't any more, and that they know what they are getting.

I got (almost) all my 2nd hand Quad gear off Ebay, and sold tremendous amounts of HiFi stuff there (all over Europe and I even sent turntables to the US) but I'd still like to add this hint:

At least for people in Benelux countries, 2dehands.be seems to have a surprisingly large amount of used Quad gear. Maybe this is more interesting to buyers than to sellers.

This seems to reflect the general appreciation of Quad as a make in continental Europe. German magazines used to always write down Quad as funny looking, but average "sounding" (at best). In the Benelux region Quad received the amount of respect they deserved.
