The dada manual recommends adding decoupling caps for the Zener diodes D1, D2, D12.

The manual only lists 100nF MKT.

Can anyone tell me what is the voltage recommended?

Thankyou

The Zener diodes are 6.8V. Anything rated 10V or greater is OK. Having said that, MKT are film capacitors. You are unlikely to find leaded film capacitors rated at less than 50V.

Thankyou for that, may I ask what is the ideal voltage in this application for the Quad 909 de-coupling MKT caps?

You would think dada would mention this information in their manual but they didn't...

Same answer. 6.8V.

As you can't get MKT capacitors in a voltage rating too low for this application, it doesn't need specifying in the service information.

Any MKT that fits mechanically is OK. It will probably be rated at 50V or 63V. As long as the voltage rating is greater that 10V you are good.

Thankyou both.

Also can anyone tell me what is the full rail voltage on the 909?

+57.8V and -53.4V according to the 909 schematic.

Damn I thought it was 63V.
