I am having a bit of a problem removing the mother board from the main chassis. Any help?

Never done it. I replaced a motherboard in an FM3 once. Labour of Sysiphus. From memory you need to be prepared to remove and replace the rear panel, which is fraught with risk, as it is only secured by four flimsy posts.

As I am getting no joy regarding this problem... Will it be advisable to just leave out the 2 two 100uf capacitors due to the problem that I'm having trying to release the motherboard from the chassis.

I don't understand the question. You can't just leave out arbitrary components, and if you're only removing the motherboard to change these capacitors you're barking up the wrong tree altogether. It isn't necessary to remove the motherboard to change these capacitors. And if that isn't the reason, what is the reason?

You are in what situation because you can't remove the motherboard for what purpose? What do the 100uF capacitors have to do with removing the motherboard? Nobody can help you if you don't answer the questions you're asked here.

Ok. Apologies I am in the process of doing a Dada Quad 33

Revision. All has been completed except the motherboard bit which needs to have two resistors removed and replaced with new recommended 100uf ones but I cant get the motherboard released to access them.

Capacitors, not resistors, and you don't have to remove the motherboard to replace them. The solder is on the exposed underside, and they are readily accessible from on top.

I am curious as to why you ever thought otherwise.

Ok. The Dada Revision instructions say.. 'Replace C5 and C6 on the motherboard with 2 x 100uf 10v capacitors' (yes I said resistors earlier).

In order to even see and de-solder C5 and C6 from the board I need to remove the board from the chassis, and then I will have to insert and then solder the new caps. So far I can only raise the board about 1/2 an inch. How is that done without removing the board?
