A friend has been using a Coda amp for years with his Martin Logan's, but it's finally given out. Not sure why people use these overly complicated, VERY expensive amps. I've offered to loan him my 606 MK II. I assume the 606 would be a good match for any modern electrostatic, especially since the Class-A Coda has been driving them.

Any opinion welcomed!

Every Quad power amplifier since at least 1957 has been able to drive an electrostatic, and they have all been specified as 'unconditionally stable into any load' since at least 1952. So there shouldn't be any problem.
