hello

my mm cartridge Audio Technic has an output of 3.5 mV (1 kHz, 5 cm/sec) 

the volume level is very low  ( position 4 or 5 )

what can i do to ameliorate this ?

Hello Kwat,

No worry's, normal room volume at about halfway of the gain is normal. You will have more than sufficiant headroom left to get you in to trouble with your neighbours.

Make sure you have the phono adapter board in the M1 position. You probably have it in the M2 position which is a bit less sensitive. You can also change all four 68k resistors on this board to 47K to better match your cartridge.

If it improved the quality there is something seriously wrong. All it should do is raise the level.
