Hi everybody,

just one question about installing the Dada Loudspeaker Protection-Delay in a Quad 606 MKII: Do i have to connect the two AC-lines (from one channel) of the transformer to the AC-inputs on the Protection-Delay (marked with ~) or just one of them and the mass of the power supply?

Thanks & kind regards - Boris

Hello Boris,

The 606 use a floating mass system for DC protection, in theory you could save a wire, but I don't now what is happening when a fault occurs! So use both inputs for the AC detection. This also has the advantage of the possibility of gently twisting them and reduce hum levels in the chassis. Also dont mix the left and right AC lines.
