Gentlemen,

Both before and after having applied a fullfledged DaDa upgrade I experience(-d) some "snap, crackle and pop" sounds for an odd 30 or so seconds (on solely the left channel!) when switching on my 303.

Resoldered almost every single connection on the board - alas to no avail.

Could you advise as to where to further investigate?

Regards,

Jay

Hello Jay,

If after the start up the 303 functions normal, it has to do with charging decharging effects. Are both channels infected? It could be the power suply, replace the all the caps on the psu board for a start.

Hi Joost,

fortunately, only one channel (the left one) is affected.

I already applied the DaDa 303 upgrade.

The unpleasant sounds (sometimes almost destructive for the speaker involved!) only last for about 30-60 seconds after having switched on the unit.

Maybe this helps in finding a solution...

Hello Jay,

The time you mentioned make me think of a 'cold' joint instead of a charging issue. Check all the solder joints in the left channel first.
